I went to the Kalai concert at Thanksgiving Point on Friday with my brother Josh, his wife Lori, and my BFF Nicole. It was a lot of fun! Even though it was cold, and the opening bands went on FOREVER...I still enjoyed myself. For those of you who haven't heard of Kalai, he is fabulous! If Dave Mathews, Paul Simon, Ben Harper, James Taylor, John Mayer, Bill Murray (Yes, the comedian) and Béla Fleck had a baby, it would be Kalai! Check him out at http://www.myspace.com/kalai.

YAAAYYY!
Good news! We got what we have been waiting for in the mail today! We have the official signed consent from Aden's biological father. That is such a relief for me. I don't think anyone else is very surprised, but I am just so relieved! The hard part is now officially over, and nothing can hold us back now. Get ready, because once the adoption is official, we are having a big PARTY! I can't wait. :)

Soccer Girl
We went to Jayne's first soccer game of the season on Saturday. It was a really good game. They played a good team, and still managed a win! (2 to 1) Jayne totally rocked the mid-field. Her team was really glad she joined them. Way to go, Jayne!!!

Getting Even Closer...
So, I know it's been a while since I updated everyone on the adoption process... I sent the "Father's Consent to Adoption" to Aden's biological father on Saturday. I am starting to stress about things, and being the pessimistic person that I am, I am getting worried that he isn't going to sign the papers. But, like my mom said, if he doesn't, I have 4 brothers who will be at his front door with baseball bats! :)
Once I receive the papers (Please!), we will be pretty much done!!! Then we'll just have to wait until we get our Hearing date. Pray for us that this will all go smoothly. We have been waiting for this for a very long time! Love to you all.

First Day of Preschool!!!
Aden's first day of Preschool was on Thursday. He absolutely LOVED it! He wasn't nervous at all. I was sad that I had to work, so I couldn't take him on his first day. Ken was given instructions to take pictures, and of course he did. Aden can't stop talking about the things he has learned, and he is constantly singing "I'm a VIP to my family..." So cute! My baby really isn't a baby anymore... :(

Golfing in the Tighty Whities...
The other day as Ken pulled out of the driveway to go to work, and I stood at the front door waving and blowing kisses (ha ha), our beautiful Pleasantville moment was interrupted by a golfer in our front yard. That golfer happened to be our son, Aden...in our yard, with Daddy's clubs, in his underoos!!! We couldn't help but laugh at how cute it was. So, of course we had to get some photos. I later made him go in and put some clothes on...
